On 30.10.2024, our school celebrated Diwali with gusto. The morning assemby brought together students, teachers, and staff to mark the occasion. After the school’s soulful prayer song, the main celebration began, followed by a short speech by a student, who shared the significance of Diwali, describing how it is celebrated across India with family gatherings, sweets, colorful rangolis, and fireworks.
Thr celebration continued with students, from different classes performing on upbeat Diwali songs, making it a vibrant, colourful and joyous event. A group of students performed a beautiful dance drama depicting the story of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya, which was met with enthusiastic applause.
Through this celebration, students learned the values of kindness, gratitude, and respect for the environment. The festival ended on a high note, with everyone leaving school feeling enriched by the day’s experiences.
