India won her freedom on 15th August,1947 and became a Republic on 26th January,1950. The new constitution of free India came into force with effect from this day. It is a day of national rejoicing and a red-letter day in our country. The day is celebrated with pomp and zeal, throughout the length and breadth of the country.
Republic day was celebrated in our school with great eclat.An Inter-house Patriotic Song Competition was organized to expose our students to music, while also enhancing their language and presentation skills. This was an opportunity to teach them the importance of Republic day. Our tiny tots were brimming with enthusiasm and eagerness to showcase their talent where they portrayed calm and composure with the most melodious and soothing voice.
