The day of voting for the student council school elections at Kairos Global School marked a highly anticipated event filled with excitement and anticipation.
As students made their way to the designated polling area, there was a palpable buzz of energy in the air. The hallways were brightly adorned with campaign posters and banners, showcasing the candidates’ names and vibrant slogans.
Students carefully reviewed the candidate profiles contesting for Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Sports Captain and Secretary, Arts and Cultural Secretary, Disciplinary Secretary, and the house captains and vice captains. The voters weighed the candidates’ qualifications, ideas, and aspirations for the school. With each vote cast, students felt empowered, knowing that their voices and opinions matter to the school.
The voting process was conducted with utmost fairness and confidentiality, overseen by the Election panel committee which firmly believes that the student council fosters student engagement and democracy within the school community providing the students with the opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making process, select their representatives, and contribute to the well being of the fraternity.
As students marked their choices on the Intelligent Interactive panel by Senses Board digitally, they took pride in actively participating in shaping the future of their school.
The day of voting for the young Kairosians of Grades 3-10 represented the positive essence of democracy and served as a reminder that every student has the power to contribute to positive change and make a difference.
