Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at Kairos Global School . Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and culture just like they do with their own. Celebrations bring the school community together, building a close bond between the children.
Keeping up to this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated by our Pre-primary students.Children came dressed in ethnic clothes.It started with a power pack dance on song, ‘Batukamma Dialo’, for the Batukamma floral festival .Students, along with teachers, all danced to the beats and tune of “Dandiya” very devotedly, with their hearts out, creating a vibrant and exuberant show. The students were happy and thrilled to have had such an action and fun packed day as they closed the semester for Dusshera holidays. They enjoyed activities related to Dussehra and listening to the story of Dussehra.
