“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”
— Maria Montessori
At Kairos Global School, we deeply believe that children are born with an incredible capacity and an innate desire to learn. It is our responsibility to provide them with rich, age-appropriate experiences through engaging play and activities that develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of themselves. We are dedicated to the holistic development of every child, fostering a caring and creative environment that encourages natural growth.
Our pre-primary curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture every facet of a child’s being: intellectual, physical, emotional, psychomotor, creative, and social. Our primary aim is to cultivate students who are cooperative, inquisitive, expressive, and enterprising, preparing them to be future leaders. We firmly believe that students learn best through “Experiential,” “Experimental,” and “Learning-by-Doing” methods within a non-coercive environment. Every effort is made to free our students from rote learning and superficial shortcuts.
Field trips, enriching excursions, hands-on project work, and diverse methods that enhance the all-round development of our students constitute the very bedrock of the Kairos Education System. In conjunction with understanding each student’s unique multiple intelligences and learning styles, we assure continuously improved learning outcomes for every child.
We appreciate that each child is unique and thrives on different learning approaches. Therefore, our curriculum accommodates diverse styles to enable every child to reach their full potential. Our programme helps children navigate their feelings and emotions, and learn the importance of sharing, turn-taking, and cooperating with their peers. This curriculum specifically includes content and pedagogy tailored to suit the age and developmental requirements of this crucial stage. At Kairos, children are given ample opportunities and encouragement to develop their five senses, strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, and refine their eye-hand coordination – essential prerequisites for early literacy and overall physical development. We seamlessly integrate “Academics” with “Arts and Practical Skills” to enhance each child’s comprehensive learning abilities.
